Title : - Viral Etiology?

Acute onset of hemiplegia in this child (due to an infarction in the region of internal capsule) appears to be due to a thrombotic event as there is no evident source of embolus. There is evidence of thrombocytosis and haematological picture is of viral infection/vasculitis. Certain data like blood sugar, chest x ray,and throat findings are required.
