I agree with Dr.Sanjiv Lewin. We will definitely like to know whether there was a prior skin lesion at the site of bleed/cellulitis. An AV malformation like haemangioma-& one will agree it's a common site for it. Thrombocytopenia can be very well explained (as in Kasabach-Meritt's syndrome).This lesion can get infected itself resulting in cellulitis. The child does seem too good to consider DIC. A large eczematous lesion & defective cell mediated immunity with thrombocytopenia(Wiscott-Aldrich's)is another possibility. Eczematous lesion getting infected aggravating the problem.
